Reddit – Ask Me Anything

When I make music or write songs I like to do all of it in a very improvisational way, I go in to the studio with no ideas and no expectations, we take it one drum kick at a time and build from there. I feel like that approach really helps me get to an honest open place. When I write Im just telling a story, usually about something that has been on my mind lately, wether it be a recent break up, or current frustrations, but by being in the moment, and without over-thinking I can stay true to myself in a way that is current with my age and reality.
